hope for the flowers

“How can I believe there’s a butterfly inside you or me when all I see is a fuzzy worm?”
“What looks like you will die but what’s really you will still live. Life is changed, not taken away. Isn’t that different from those who die without ever becoming butterflies?”
“Imagine, I didn’t even know I could do this. That’s some encouragement that I’m on the right track. If I have inside me
the stuff to make cocoons – maybe the stuff of butterflies is there too.”
Inspirational quotes from “Hope for the Flowers” by Trina Paulus.
Never though I would cry reading a children’s book but this book did it. It seems to capture my state right now. Starting new with a whole different life ahead of me.. Missing my friends desperately and longing for home but hoping above all to become this “butterfly” I’m meant to become.

Finally bought myself a copy of this book. Found it in the religion section (weird). Still highly recommended and it’s a book you’ll never be able to lose (its bright yellow).
