Bloggers Face-Off

Get your keyboards and dashboards (if you’re using wordpress, that is) ready – the Bloggers Face-Off has begun!
Chantal, writer of the blog Le Blog de Chanty, selects two Lebanese bloggers every week to answer questions about their blogs, blogging experience, advice to other bloggers and blogging aspirations. That’s a whole lot of the word “blog” in one sentence!
Blogs ranging from Alexander McNabb’s witty “From Fake Plastic Souks“, Beirut Drive-by Shooting‘s exploration of Lebanese billboards, Ivy Says‘s discourse on life of a single Lebanese girl (á la Carrie from Sex and the City) to the more widespread Hummus Nation and Plus 961 – have all taken part in this.
Besides providing some insight into Lebanon’s growing blog community, it’s interesting to see the people behind the blogs that have come to take on a life (and fame) of their own.
I took part in the latest Bloggers Face-Off with another Lebanese designer, Rana Bassil Eltschinger from Bric à Brac. The questions were simple enough, but I hadn’t thought about my blog in that way before – and it’s almost a 4-year-old!
